Tuesday, October 5 - Must have your stop motions in final format and ready to be turned in. This is the final call for this. You also need you keyframes and story completely finished. I will be checking your sketchbooks in class for this. We will use this day to go over a little more history of the medium and work.
Thursday, October 7 - Voluntary Field Trip for extra credit instead of class sans professor...You may attend the State of Art Lecture at the Frist in Nashville. http://www.fristcenter.org/site/calendar/eventdetail.aspx?cid=883. To receive attendance and extra credit you must bring back a flyer from the event, ticket stub, notes in your sketchbook from the lecture and a character sketch of the artist (cartoon style...what features, mannerism would you bring out if you were to animate him). Make sure that everyone has a ride...those of you driving please be careful and also save you receipts. There is parking located at the back of the Frist.
Tuesday, October 12 - Critique!!! Must have a finished animation of your story completed and ready to critique. A 350 word summary is due in my email at that time. You must also turn in your sketchbooks for grading as well as your computer files stored on your art server at your station for preview.
Thursday, October 14 - YOU MADE IT TO FALL BREAK!!!! REST AND RELAX...NO HOMEWORK.
